The companies hiring jobless people or young graduates will receive a monthly subsidy of about 480 euro (2,250 lei) for each such employee for 12 months, the Ilfov Employment Agency (AJOFM) said in a release on Wednesday.
These incentives are intended for businesses that hire for an indefinite period unemployed aged over 45, single parents who are the family's sole breadwinners, long-term unemployed or young people who are not in education, employment or training.
For a period of 12 months, these companies will receive for each person hired from these categories a monthly amount of 2,250 lei, provided that they maintain employment relationships for at least 18 months.
An equal subsidy is offered to employers that hire, according to the law, jobless who will meet within five years from the the date of employment the requirements for partial early retirement or old-age retirement, during the period of employment, until the respective conditions are fulfilled.
Such incentives will also be paid to employers who have fulfilled their legal obligation to employ disabled persons as per their headcount, as well as employers who do not have this legal obligation, if they hire for an indefinite period people with disabilities and maintain the employment relationships for at least 18 months.
The subsidy offered by AJOFM for the indefinite employment of young graduates is a monthly 2,250 lei / hired graduate. In the case of graduates with disabilities, the subsidies are granted for a period of 18 months.
