Romania men's national ice hockey team was defeated by Ukraine with a score of 4-1 (0-0, 1-1, 3-0), on Friday evening, in Elektrenai Arena (Lithuania), in Group D of the European Nations Cup.
Otto Sandor-Szekely scored the goal for the tricolors, in the debut match of the Finnish coach Markus Juurikkala, according to the Facebook page of the Romanian Ice Hockey Federation, agerpres reports.
On Thursday, in the first match of the group, Lithuania defeated Ukraine 2-1.
On Saturday, in the last match in Elektrenai Arena, Romania will face Lithuania (18:30).
