President Klaus Iohannis on Monday signed the decree for promulgating the law approving the Government's Emergency Ordinance 44/2015 on granting some tax incentives, the Presidential Administration informs.
Last October, the Government passed this emergency ordinance that stipulates that all those who will pay by March 31, 2016 their payment obligations for the general budget, outstanding on September 30, 2015 and managed by the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF), will benefit from cancelled delay penalties.
Also, according to the normative act, the taxpayers who will pay by June 30, 2016 a share of 45.8pct of the interest related to the outstanding principal obligations will benefit, conditionally, by the cancellation of 54.2pct of the interest related to the principal budget obligations on September 30, managed by the ANAF.
To benefit from the cancellation of delay penalties and a share of 54.2pct of the interest, taxpayers must submit a request to that effect to the tax authority.
At the same time, President Klaus Iohannis has signed into law the decree on the Government's Emergency Ordinance no. 53/2015 to establish some measures applicable in the event of a massive influx of immigrants at Romania's state border.
