The exhibition called "Lebanon, seen from Romania," occasioned by the National Day of the Lebanese Republic, can be visited, until 4 December, at the National History Museum of Romania (MNIR), told Agerpres.
According to a MNIR press release sent to AGERPRES on Friday, the exhibition includes various heritage assets, many exhibited for the first time, Maronite icons and other cult objects, maps from the 16th-18th centuries, Lebanese orders and decorations, traditional fabrics, postage stamps, pieces of metal and glass, from the collection of Ioana Feodorov-Candea, PhD. and from the MNIR collections and that of the National Museum of Maps and Old Books (MNHCV).
The exhibition is organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, in partnership with the Embassy of the Lebanese Republic to Romania, the National Museum of Maps and Old Books, the National Museum of Romanian Literature, the Library of the Romanian Academy, the Library of the Holy Synod, the Bucharest City Hall, and with the support of Ioana Feodorov-Candea, PhD.
