The incumbent mayor of Bucharest, Nicusor Dan, supported by the United Right Alliance, obtained, on Sunday, 45% of the votes of Bucharest residents for a new mandate, and the Social Democratic Party (PSD) candidate, Gabriela Firea, was credited with 24%, according to the results of the exit-poll conducted by CURS-Avangarde.
In third place comes Cristian Popescu-Piedone, rated with 13% of the votes.
The National Liberal Party (PNL) candidate, Sebastian Burduja, obtained 10% of the votes.
In the race for the position of mayor of Bucharest, Mihai Enache, the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) representative, obtained 4% of the votes, and DianaSosoaca, from the SOS Romania Party - 3%.
Other candidates obtained a total of 1% of the votes.
