Hungarian tennis player Marton Fucsovics will be the main seed of this year's edition of the ATP tournament "Ion Tiriac Challenger", which will take place between June 30 and July 6, 2025, at the Olimpia Sports Center in Brasov, announced on Tuesday the Tiriac Foundation, which organizes the event.
Fucsovics (ranked 112th in ATP) won the 2024 edition of the ATP 250 tournament in Bucharest, Tiriac Open, and this year he reached the semifinals.
Along with him, important names such as Chilean Cristian Garin, former world Top 20 player, Argentine Federico Coria and the defending champion, Bolivian Murkel Dellien, have confirmed their presence.
Romania will be represented by Filip Cristian Jianu, and talented young players such as Maxim Mrva and Kilian Feldbausch completes the list of participants.
The tournament offers total prizes of 91,250 euros and 75 ATP points for the winner of the singles event. The competition will include 32-player single and 16-team double matches.AGERPRES
