The degree of positivity for the COVID-19 tests performed is 22.95%, the Ministry of Health informed on Thursday.
Within 24 hours, 15,374 positive people with the SARS-CoV-2 virus were registered in Romania, out of a total of 66,988 RT-PCR and antigen tests performed.
The Ministry of Health reiterates that people who have symptoms that may indicate the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus (fever, cough, fatigue, headache, loss of taste and smell, etc.) are asked to call their family doctor, public health inspectorates' call centers or emergency line 112 to request testing.
In Bucharest and in Ilfov County, people with symptoms of COVID-19 can travel by their own means, not by public transport, to the centers specially created for the collection of samples for testing.
People who test positive can go to the COVID-19 assessment centers for consultation and treatment.
"If you are in severe condition and your symptoms are aggressive, call the emergency number 112!", the Ministry of Health informs.
According to the quoted source, out of the 1,119 people admitted to the ICU, 964 are unvaccinated against COVID, and out of the 125 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, 104 occurred in unimmunized patients, Agerpres informs.
