Bucharest, Jan 13 /Agerpres/ - The production of automobiles in Romania reached last year a volume of 420,755 units, down by 3.96% compared to 2020, shows the data of the Romanian Automobile Makers Association (ACAROM), published on Thursday.
In 2020, the total production of automobiles in Romania was 438,107 units.
According to the centralized data, of the 420,755 automobiles produced at the national level in 2021, a number of 257,405 were Dacia, while 163,350 units were Ford.
At the level of December 2021 solely, 40,803 automobiles were produced locally, down by 13 pct compared to November, when 46,773 were produced.
Of the total reported in December, 23,421 units were produced at the Dacia plant, and 17,382 units were produced at the Ford plant in Craiova.
