Over 1,000 athletes from 33 countries, at three gymnastics competitions, in Bucharest

More than 1,000 athletes from 33 countries on six continents will, between September 1 and October 22, 2023, be the protagonists of the competitions in artistic gymnastics, aerobic gymnastics, acrobatic gymnastics and gymnastics for all as part of a "a gymnastics feast", Carmencita announced on Tuesday Constantin, chairman of the Romanian Gymnastics Federation (FRG).

Present at the conference, the general mayor of the Capital, Nicusor Dan, expressed his satisfaction for the fact that Bucharest is the host of great sports events, emphasizing that the City Hall is interested in sports, which comes with a series of values for the young people, such as team spirit and the discipline, but also the fact that Bucharest is becoming even more well-known, by organizing this international gymnastics competition, agerpres reports.

The international event, the largest in terms of complexity and competitions organized by the Romanian Gymnastics Federation in Romania, will include the RomGym Trophy in male and female artistic gymnastics, the National Acrobatic Gymnastics Competition, the Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup, the Aerobic Gymnastics Balkan Championships and Bucharest Gym for All Festival.

World, European and Balkan medalists, and established gymnasts will take part in the event.

Athletes from 14 countries entered the competition: Germany, Israel, Norway, Portugal, Canada, Spain, Finland, Egypt, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Azerbaijan, Austria and Romania.
