The General Inspectorate of the Border Police (IGPF) informs that on Friday, more than 204,000 people, Romanian citizens, carried out the control formalities (both inbound and outbound) through the border points throughout the country and foreigners, with over 57,500 means of transport.
There were 103,916 people entering Romania, of which 9,562 were Ukrainian citizens, according to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Saturday.
According to the cited source, with regard to specific activities, in the last 24 hours, in the areas of competence - the crossing points and the "green border" - the border police found 60 illegal acts (38 crimes and 22 misdemeanors) committed both Romanian and foreign citizens.
The amount of contravention fines applied amounts to approximately 10,000 RON.
The goods seized for confiscation were worth more than 4,987,000 RON.
22 foreign citizens who did not meet the conditions provided for by law were not allowed to enter the country, and 13 Romanian citizens were also not allowed to leave for various legal reasons.
