The pass rate in the second session of the national Baccalaureate exam was only 29.3%, the Ministry of Education announced on Monday.
The ministry published, on Monday, the initial results, before the registration and resolution of appeals, obtained by the candidates who took the national Baccalaureate exam in the August 2024 session.
A total of 8,206 candidates passed, with a cumulative pass rate (all classes) of 29.3%.
The pass rate for the 2024 promotion was 31.2% (5,855 candidates), for the previous classes - 25.4% (2,351 candidates).
The written exams were attended by 28,016 candidates out of the total of 33,676 registered. 48 candidates were eliminated for fraud or attempted fraud and will not be able to participate in the next two sessions.
