Cotroceni National Museum is hosting on Sunday the varnishing of the exhibition "Great Union. From victory in the First World War to coronation of Great Romania's sovereigns," continuing thus the series of cultural manifestations dedicated to the Great Union Centenary, reads a release of the museum institutions remitted to AGERPRES.
The exhibition tells through images the role played by the royal family Ferdinand and Maria both in what concerned the decision making process and such moves as Romania's participation in the First World War and on the other hand, the achievement of the national ideal of the Union, recognized by the great European powers.
The exhibition, to stay open to the public until February 13th, will include rare pictures from the patrimony of the National Cotroceni Museum, showing the Royal Family during the peace talks, return to Bucharest in December 1918, and also the Coronation in Alba Iulia.
