Prime Minister Viorica Dancila will meet on Monday with Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, within a visit that the Romanian PM is paying to Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
"Today, I will start a visit to the Republic of Turkey, the Persian Gulf, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, states with potential to develop economic relations with Romania," the PM mentioned in the Gov't sitting.
PM Dancila underscored that the purpose of this visit is to promote economic relations.
"Promoting investments and business opportunities currently represents a priority of the Government. Several ministers will be accompanying me in this visit. We will present important projects of areas such as transport infrastructure, healthcare, tourism, energy, which private investors can develop, including in private-public partnership," she pointed out.
Dancila detailed a part of the visit schedule: "Today I will have meetings with Turkey's President Erdogan, the leadership of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, as well as with head of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey."
The visit will continue with several meetings with high officials of the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
"I want to underscore that I will attend the Businessmen Forum of Romania and Kuwait," Dancila added.
