National leader of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Nicolae Ciuca said on Sunday, upon exiting the polling station, that he voted for Romania's development, for the preservation of values, traditions and faith, for a strong Romania in a united Europe.
"I voted for Romania's development, for a better life in every community, I voted for the safety of Romanians, for the preservation of our values, traditions and faith, everything that means Romanian identity, for a strong Romania in a united Europe, for Romania's European journey. It is a road from which we must not deviate, no matter how much noise is made," Ciuca said.
He urged Romanians to show up and vote.
"Voter turnout is very important; it is very important who represents us in Brussels, and it is very important who leads the communities. As such, I am urging everyone to show up and vote and decide the future of our country, which has to be a better future."
