President Klaus Iohannis on Monday will address Parliament on domestic affairs.
On Tuesday, Iohannis sent a letter to Senate Chairman Calin-Popescu Tariceanu and Speaker of the Chamber of Depiuties Valeriu Zgonea asking for a slot to deliver home affairs remarks on February 22, which was accepted by Parliament.
"It was decided to convene a joint plenary session of Parliament for Monday, 16:00hrs, EET. President Iohannis wants to address Parliament," Senate Chairman Tariceanu said Wednesday.
He added that the themes to be discussed were mentioned in the President's letter.
This will be Iohannis's first address this year.
Since winning the presidential election in 2014, Iohannis has addressed Parliament five times. AGERPRES
