Independent presidential candidate Victor Ponta says that he voted in Sunday's election for competence, seriousness, diligence and, above all, "for the hope that the future belongs to us", informs Agerpres.
"I voted at the polling station near the Holy Monastery of Corbii de Piatra! I'm asking all Romanians to get out and vote! I voted for Romania and for the Romanians, with the faith that God has given us a blessed country and a blessed people and that, even now, He will give us the strength to elect good and just leaders; I also believe that together we can overcome the current crisis, protecting the sovereign rights of Romanians to healthcare, education, pension, salary, low taxes, prosperity and respect, here in Romania, and everywhere where our fellow citizens live! I voted for competence, seriousness, diligence and, above all, for the hope that the future belongs to us," Victor Ponta wrote in a social media post on Sunday.
Ponta voted at Precinct 311 at Corbi, Arges County.
