Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu to meeting European officials in Brussels on Friday

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu is in Brussels on Friday, where he has scheduled a series of meetings with European officials, with whom he will discuss, among other things, the reforms undertaken in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), told Agerpres.

The Prime Minister will meet European Commission (EC) President Ursula Von der Leyen, European Parliament Roberta Metsola, European Council President Charles Michel, and Director General of the European Commission's SG Recover (Recovery and Resilience Task Force) Celine Gauer.

"Romania is politically and economically stable, it has the second highest economic growth among EU member states, strongly supported by foreign direct investment. We will maintain the momentum of the Romanian economy and the confidence of investors through the reforms we are making in key areas. These reforms have been undertaken both in the Government Programme and in the PNRR, which shows the Romanian Government's firm determination to implement them with the support of European partners and for the benefit of Romania and Romanians," Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said before his visit to Brussels.

On Friday morning, the PM will go to the ''Queen Astrid'' Military Hospital in Brussels, where two people injured in the Crevedia explosions were transferred for treatment.
