Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca discussed on Monday in a meeting with the Ministers of Energy, Finance and Agriculture, the impact of the measures adopted by the Government in the economic and energy fields, the participants emphasizing that Romania has no problems with food security, the Government informed in a press release.
"Government representatives will continue to assess the situation generated by the increase in gas and electricity prices, the Executive being determined to strengthen the effects of the measures established to help household consumers and ensure the optimal functioning of public services and the economy. The participants also underlined that, according to the analysis of the specialists, it is not necessary to ration food, Romania not being affected by such a perspective," reads the release, Agerpres.ro informs.
The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Energy, Virgil Popescu, Finance, Adrian Caciu, and Agriculture, Adrian Chesnoiu, the Secretary General of the Government, Marian Neacsu, and the Prime Minister's Chancellery head, Mircea Abrudean.
