The chairman of PSD, Marcel Ciolacu, (co-ruling Social Democratic Party) declared on Tuesday, in Parliament, that during Tuesday's Governing coalition meeting there will be a discussion about the possibility of capping basic food items' prices, but also about the cumulation of pension with salary in state institutions.
Ciolacu added that in Romania food items already have "a consistent VAT deduction", Agerpres.ro informs.
The PSD chairman also said that during the coalition's meeting on Tuesday there will be talks about banning the cumulation of pension with salary, but only after they will see what the impact of such a decision will be.
"Let us see the impact, not to give out laws and make decisions without knowing the full context," Ciolacu said.
