The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, declared on Friday, referring to the possibility of the proposal by the National Liberal Party (PNL) leader Florin Citu of mandating the green COVID certificate for the employees in health and education, that his position is "of support" for any action that has a favorable impact on public health, Agerpres reports.
Asked what position he has regarding the possibility for the PNL leader Florin Citu to propose next week in the coalition mandating the green certificate for health and education employees, the Minister of Health Alexandru Rafila answered in a press conference: "In terms of the green certificate, I am pleased with the efficiency of Mr. Citu. Chairman Citu is an efficient man, he has demonstrated it throughout the past year and he will probably prove the same efficiency by promoting a draft normative act regarding the use of the green certificate for certain categories. My position is: I am in favor of supporting any approach that has a favorable impact on public health."
Rafila said he was waiting with "great interest" and would not oppose the PNL head's proposal, as it got politically validated in the ruling coalition.
The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, visited the "Grigore Alexandrescu" Emergency Clinical Hospital for Children in Bucharest on Friday.
Rafila discussed with the management team and the department heads about the preparation of the health unit in this epidemiological context and visited several departments.
Rafila: Regarding the green certificate, I support any approach with a favorable impact on public health
