Rectors of 10 European universities participate, from Wednesday to Friday, at the Bucharest National University of Science and Technology Polytechnic, in an international conference organized by the alliance of European technical universities EELISA.
According to an information sent on Wednesday by Politehnica Bucharest, EELISA - European Engineering Learning Innovation & Science Alliance - is part of the European University Initiative, with the mission to contribute to the consolidation of the European Education and Research Area and to the creation of a unified and unlimited market for innovation and technology, agerpres reports.
Bucharest Polytechnic is a partner in EELISA with nine other higher education institutions in Europe and was selected within the Erasmus+ Call for European Universities in 2023 to continue the second phase of the project.
The conference celebrates, three years after the establishment of EELISA, the exceptional achievements within the alliance, as well as the impact it aims to have on society by defining a common European engineer model deeply anchored in society's challenges, the cited source stated.
