For the first time, the motorcyclists who will participate in the Red Bull Romaniacs rally will also cross sections of decommissioned mines, the entire competition consisting of routes as difficult as possible, 24 to 28 July, organizers announced on Thursday.
"After the ceremonial start in Piata Mare, the actual start of the rally will occur on 24 July, qualifications will be held in the morning for Prolog, and starting with 17:00, the finals. Once the urban adventure ends, four days of off-road follow, this year the route of three of them will reach Petrosani area, and afterwards the journey will continue through sections of decommissioned mines.
