The Romanian national team ranked third in the Rugby Europe Championship 2023, after dramatically defeating the Spanish team with a score of 31-25 (8-10), on Sunday, in the small final, held at the Estadio Nuevo Vivero in Badajoz (Spain).
For Romania, Marius Simionescu (40+1), Cristi Chirica (42), Gabriel Pop (49), Gabriel Rupanu (53), Paul Popoaia scored from a penalty kick (36) and a conversion (43), and Vladut Popa also added two penalty kicks (74, 80+2).AGERPRES
