In the first three months of 2018, Romania exported processed rubber worth 576.9 million euros, up 2.7pct from the similar period of 2017, according to data with the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
The imports of processed rubber amounted to 284.2 million euros, up 9.6pct from January-March 2017, thus giving a surplus of 292.7 million euros on this segment.
In the first quarter of 2018, Romania's FOB exports exceeded 16.987 billion euros and rose 9.8pct from the same period last year. CIF imports amounted to 19.703 billion euros, up 10.8pct.
