Defending world champion Romania won Group D of the European Minifootball Championship - EMF EURO 2024 in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Hercegovina, on Monday evening, after drawing Hungary, 0-0.
Romania had won two clear victories in the first matches, 9-0 against Turkey and 5-2 against Poland, totalling seven points. Hungary also had seven points, but a lower goal difference.
At the previous edition of the European Championship, in 2022, Romania loss to Azerbaijan in the final.
