Romania will play for the 9th-12th places at the European Under-19 Women's Handball Championship in Montenegro, after defeating Norway with a score of 31-29 (16-16), on Thursday, in Moraca Podgorica, in a match for positions 9-16.
The tricolors started well and led by four goals, 6-2, 7-3, but at halftime the score was tied, 16-16.
The Scandinavians controlled a good part of the second half, leading by 18-16, 22-20, and then by three goals, 24-21, 26-23. Romania tied in min. 52, 27-27, dominating the end of the game, which they won by 31-29.On Friday, Romania will play for places 9-12 versus Serbia.
