The Ministry of National Defence (MApN) has a stand in the Central Park of Cluj-Napoca, open Thursday to Sunday, for the Untold Festival.
According to MApN, in attendance there will be servicepersons from the 4th Gemina Infantry Division, the Special Operations Forces, specialists in explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) together with dog Rocky, the 30th Mihai Viteazu Guards Brigade and the 71st General Emanoil Ionescu Air Base, school boys and students from military educational establishments.
Throughout the festival, Team Invictus Romania will provide first aid courses where participants will be able to learn basic manoeuvres in line with the updated medical protocol guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council.
On display there will be weapons of the Special Operations Forces (FOS), a riot control vehicle and a robot of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams, a flight simulator of the Air Force Academy in Brasov and a virtual shooting simulator of the Land Forces Academy in Sibiu.
Servicepersons of the 30th Mihai Viteazul Guards Brigade will conduct drill team exercises, and the participants who want to check their motor skills can do so using a military-applicative route with obstacles prepared by the soldiers of the 317th Vladeasa Regiment.
Officials of the Cluj Area Military Centre will provide detailed information to all those interested in a military career.
