The authorities are considering a hub in which Iran's agricultural producers can sell fish and sea food products and Romanians - mutton in carcass, according to a release of the Agriculture Ministry sent to AGERPRES on Monday.
Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Achim Irimescu received on an official meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of Iran, Hamid Moayyer.
"Iran's Ambassador wanted to find out on this occasion the impressions of Minister Achim Irimescu while visiting Teheran, in the period 18-21 September 2016. We bring to mind that alongside the Agriculture Minister and President of the ANSVSA Radu Roatis, representatives of Romanian cereal, seed growers and sheep breeders also traveled to Iran," the release points out, cited by agerpres.

According to him, Minister Irimescu was impressed after visiting Iran, referencing the dairy farm near Teheran, the genetics of an elite unit in the field of animal breeding having the main activity in selecting, testing and improving the breeding bulls, the good infrastructure Iran has.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Achim Irimescu reconfirmed the invite of his Iranian counterpart in regards to paying a visit in the next period, the best opportunity being the participation to the new edition of the INDRAGRA fair, in the beginning of November 2016.
