No fewer than 13 Romanian tennis players have qualified for the round of 16 at the ITF tournament in Campulung Muscel (W15), with total prize worth 15,000 USD.
Half of the Romanian players in the main singles draw managed to reach the second round, with only three foreign players advancing.
On Wednesday, Diana-Ioana Simionescu, Alexandra Irina Anghel, Mara Gae, Maia Ilinca Burcescu, Briana Szabo, Anamaria Federica Oana and Simona Ogescu all secured victories.
