Romania's Under-21 national football team defeated Georgia's Under-21 team with a score of 1-0 (0-0) on Wednesday, in a friendly match held in Vorau (Austria).

The only goal of the match was scored by Andrei Borza (72nd minute), according to the website of the Romanian Football Federation.

Head coach Daniel Pancu lined up the team as follows: Otto Hindrich (Razvan Sava, 46'; Vlad Rafaila, 89') - Dan Sirbu (Tony Strata, 46'), Matteo Dutu (Cristian Ignat, 46'), Mario Tudose (Matei Ilie, 46'), Costin Amzar (Andrei Borza, 46') - Cristian Mihai (Marius Corbu, 46'), Catalin Vulturar (Umit Akdag, 46'), Constantin Grameni - Catalin Cirjan (Ianis Stoica, 46'), Vladislav Blanuta (Rare? Burnete, 46'), Octavian Popescu (Zoran Mitrov, 46').

The Romanian team will debut on June 11 in the final tournament of the Under-21 European Championship in Slovakia, against Italy (in Trnava, at 22:00).
