A tropical air mass from northern Africa loaded with dust particles of Saharan origin will advance to southern and southeastern Europe, including Romania, in the coming days, informs the National Environmental Guard.
"Between March 30 and April 1, the air circulation will take place predominantly from south-western and southern sectors, and finally from the western sector, so that it will favour the advance from the north of Africa of a tropical air mass, loaded with dust particles with Saharan origin, especially towards southern and south-eastern Europe, including in the area of our country. The concentrations of the dust particles that are going to reach over Romania will be lower compared to those in the south of the Italian Peninsula and the Balkan Peninsula," the source says in a post on the Facebook page, Agerpres.ro informs.
Dust deposits will be observed in the areas and intervals with rain, starting Thursday, in the west, center and north of the country, then, on small areas in the rest, as well.
