The Standing Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies on Monday approved the report of the legal committee regarding the sanctioning of the AUR (Alliance for the Union of Romanians) Deputy Titi Stoica.
The legal committee of the Deputies' Chamber on March 15 decided to sanction the AUR MP Titi Stoica with a warning, after he told the national minorities Deputy Ovidiu Gant that he is "a Nazi."
The lawmakers analyzed a complaint submitted to the Standing Bureau on February 20 by the parliamentary group of national minorities.
The complaint was filed for violation of the articles 14 and 53 of Law no. 96/2006 on the Statute of Deputies and Senators and several articles of the Rules of Procedure of the Chamber of Deputies, corroborated with the provisions of three articles of the Code of Conduct of Deputies and Senators, for which reason the parliamentary group of national minorities requested the leadership of the Chamber to sanction the AUR MP.
