Turnover from market services provided mainly to enterprises decreased by 18.2%, in January 2025, compared to December 2024, as gross series, and increased by 4.5% as series adjusted depending on the number of business days and seasonality, informs the National Institute of Statistics (INS), through a press release.
The decrease in the turnover from market services provided mainly to enterprises, gross series, was due to the decrease in the turnover from cinematographic, video, television programme production activities; broadcasting and transmission of programmes (-39.4%), communications activities (-22.9%), other services provided mainly to enterprises (-18.2%), IT and information technology service activities (-17.7%) and transport activities (-14.6%).
In January 2025, compared to the same month in 2024, the turnover from market services provided mainly to enterprises, gross series, decreased, overall, by 0.7%, as a result of the drop in turnover from cinematographic, video, television programme production activities; broadcasting and transmission of programmes (-21.5%) and from computer and information technology service activities (-9.6%). Increases were recorded in communications activities (+4.6%), other services provided mainly to enterprises (+3.2%) and transport activities (+1.6%).
As adjusted series, the turnover from market services provided mainly to enterprises decreased, overall, by 1.5%.
