Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Thursday's trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Thursday's trading session higher on most indices, and the total value of transactions amounted to 66.55 million RON (13.37 million euros).

The most liquid shares on the regulated market were those of OMV Petrom, with exchanges of 26.99 million RON, followed by shares of Banca Transilvania, with 12.65 million RON, and Hidroelectrica - 4.44 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.16%, up to 17,330.00 points.

The BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks, closed up 0.16%, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.14%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, closed down 0.33%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose 0.17%, while the BET-NG index, which tracks the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, closed up 0.06%.

The BET AeRO index, which tracks 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, fell 0.92%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Condmag (+7.14%), Romcab (+6.29%) and Mecanica Fina (+4.09%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Promateris (-10%), SSIF BRK Financial Group (-3.36%) and Rompetrol Well Services (-2.76%).
