Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher
The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed the first trading session of the week in the green, and the total value of transactions was 62.98 million lei (12.74 million euros), told Agerpres.
The most traded companies on the Regulated Market were Fondul Proprietatea, with a turnover of 12.15 million lei, Banca Transilvania, with 11.23 million lei, and BRD-Groupe Societe Generale, with 9.47 million lei.
The main BET index appreciated 1.38% to 12,891.69 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the performance of the 37 most liquid stocks on the stock exchange, rose 1.36%.
The BET-XT blue-chip broad index, of the 25 most liquid stocks, closed up 1.08%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, rose 0.39%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund returns, closed the session up 0.57%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, gained 0.28%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies in the AeRO market, appreciated 0.18%.
The best performances were recorded by UCM Resita (+12.44%), SSIF BRK Financial Group (+8.75%) and Banca Transilvania (+5.74%).
On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by Condmag (-10%), Artego (-9.47%) and Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-4.85%).
