The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed lower on Thursday on most indices, and the value of transactions increased to 71.45 million RON (14.208 million euros), from 65.24 million RON (12.98 million euros) in the previous session.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.11%, to the value of 18,486.91 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, also closed lower by 0.52%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decline of 0.08%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.63%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, depreciated by 0.31%, and the BET-NG, which measures the evolution of ten energy and utility companies, closed up by 0.22%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed down by 0.73%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 35.75 million RON, followed by OMV Petrom shares, with 3.19 million RON, and Transelectrica, with over 2.78 million RON.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+14.98%), Compania Energopetrol (+12.94%) and Condmag (+11.11%).
On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Armatura (-9.86%), Turism Felix (-4.11%) and Artego (-3.10%).
