Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Tuesday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Tuesday's session lower on most indices, and the total value of transactions amounted to 45.3 million RON (9.1 million euros).

The most liquid stocks on the regulated market were those of Banca Transilvania, with exchanges of 7.8 million RON, followed by shares of Fondul Proprietatea, with 3.84 million RON, and Romgaz - 2.44 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.64%, to 17,287.20 points.

The BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks, closed down 0.63%, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 0.56%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, closed up 0.49%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, fell 0.52%, while the BET-NG index, which tracks the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, closed down 0.72%.

The BET AeRO index, which tracks 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, rose 1.22%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+8.63%), Promateris (+6.56%) and Green Tech International (+4.48%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Mecanica Fina (-11.17%), Romcab (-8%) and Bermas (-4.44%).
