Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Friday's session in the red

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) started the Friday session down on almost all indices, and turnover amounted to 4.03 million RON (810,321 euros), 45 minutes after the start of transactions.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered a depreciation of 0.07%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BSE, recorded a similar decrease.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, fell by 0.06%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.10%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs was up by 0.08%, and the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, was down by 0.06%.

According to BVB data, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by COMCM Constanta (+15%), AROBS Transilvania Software (+1.53%) and Bittnet Systems (+1.48%).

On the other hand, CONPET (-1.35%), Electromagnetica (-1.28%) and AAGES (-1.27%) were down.
