Censure motion initiated by PSD passed Parliament; Citu gov't is dismissed

The motion of censure initiated by PSD (Social Democratic Party) has been adopted by the Parliament on Tuesday.

There were 281 votes cast "in favour" of the motion, according to parliamentary sources.

The MPs of PNL (National Liberal Party), UDMR (Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania) and of the national minorities did not vote.

234 votes were needed to pass the motion.
