Education Minister Sorin Cimpeanu on Thursday said that the degree of vaccination among the educational staff is over 70%, and an important number of schools have a degree of 100%.
Cimpeanu mentioned, in connection with the possibility of introducing the green certificate at the workplace, that it represents a decision of the Government and that he agrees with any measures that allow the school to run with a physical attendance.
"I do not make assumptions. It is a decision of the Government. Depending on the decision of the Government, I will let you know the impact level in the education system," said Cimpeanu, after the Executive meeting, when asked how teachers would react if the green certificate at the workplace was introduced, Agerpres.ro informs.
Sorin Cimpeanu stated that the degree of vaccination among the educational staff is over 70%.
"So at the last inquiry into the education system, the vaccination rate of education staff was long over 70%. So in education we have more than double the national average in terms of vaccination, so we have teachers and staff in charge with education. (...) We have a significant number of schools in which the degree of vaccination is one hundred percent," the minister also said.
