Crown Custodian takes tea at Savarsin Castle with Queen Elizabeth II's head gardener

Custodian of the Crown of Romania, Her Majesty Margareta, last week welcomed at Savarsin Castle Mr. Martin Woods, who has served for 25 years as head gardener on Queen Elizabeth II's Sandringham Estate. Woods has 40 years of experience in horticulture consulting and education.

"The Crown Custodian and Prince Radu had Mr. Martin Woods as their guest for tea, on a visit that took place at the initiative of the Royal Collection Foundation. Mr. Woods visited both the natural and the built heritage of the Savarsin Royal Estate. Also participating were Radu Ghina, the director of the Royal Collection Foundation, executive secretary Iuliana Petrescu, Savarsin Castle superintendent Adrian Neamt, and estate gardener Valentin Suciu," the Royal Family of Romania said in a Facebook post.
