Roxana Minzatu, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs, and Training, will pay an official visit to Bucharest on Friday, November 21, the European Commission's Representation to Romania announced in a release.
"During the first part of the day, the Executive Vice-President will participate in the opening of the high-level Conference Cohesion 2027+: A Driver for Long-term Development, Inclusive Economic Competitiveness and Resilience Across Europe organized by the Ministry of European Investments and Projects in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Finance Ministry," the release states.
Afterwards, Roxana Minzatu will participate in a broad structured dialogue within the EUROSFAT 2025 Forum organized by Europuls - the European Expertise Center, and the University of Bucharest. With over 800 participants, the discussion will bring the voice of citizens to the forefront and will address four major themes: Romania and the EU - a long-distance relationship based on trust?; competitiveness and the future of work; the future of education and its role in promoting democracy and the new generations; and the new Multiannual Financial Framework, specifies the cited source.
Roxana Minzatu will also have bilateral meetings with World Bank Vice President Antonella Bassani, Croatian Minister of Regional Development and European Funds Natasa Mikus Zigman, Rector of the University of Bucharest Marian Preda, and a delegation formed by members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham Romania).
