Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration Cseke Attila on Tuesday inaugurated a new creche in the city of Piatra-Neamt under governmental program "Saint Ana," giving assurances that there is funding in 2025 for the continuation of the programme.

"There are 246 creches in progress, at various stages, of which 23 are handed over and the rest are in execution or design, but all of them have a contractor. This government programme is prioritised in terms of funding for 2025, funding is secured. We will be able to hand over a significant number of creches. Today we will hand over in Campulung Moldovenesc, Suceava County, and tomorrow we will hand over two more creches s in Maramures and Arad counties. Then Deva, Zalau, Câmpina will follow," said Cseke, agerpres reports.

He added that in the period immediately ahead no new investment will be approved, in certain areas financed by the National Investment Company (CNI).

"We are talking about new sports halls, cultural centres, cinema halls, partly sports facilities. On water-sewer investments, not because they are not necessary, they are very necessary, but I am a supporter of investments that are carried out at on a single order, not at two or three different ministries. For example, on the water-canal we have at least three entities that carry out investment in this area and I don't think it's good, at least if we look at what happened on the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR)."

The minister said that there will be a prioritisation of the 1,219 facilities financed by the CNI, and that 271 are over 80% ready and can be completed this year.
