The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the State of Israel, Yair Lapid, will begin on Saturday evening diplomatic visits to two countries that have a common border with Ukraine - Romania and Slovakia, announces the Israeli Embassy in Bucharest.
According to a post on the Facebook page of the diplomatic mission, on Sunday, March 13, Yair Lapid will meet, in Bucharest, with Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca and with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu.
The two foreign ministers will deliver press statements at the end of the meeting.
Also, the Israeli official will visit the northeastern Siret Border Crossing Point and "will meet with the staff who have been at customs for over two weeks in order to save the Israeli citizens and the Jews of Ukraine and to support the refugees who cross the border".
On Monday, the Israeli official will take off for Bratislava, Slovakia, informs Agerpres.
