Minister of the Environment, Water and Forestry Diana Buzoianu is attending today the release of the National Youth Action Plan on Climate Change at the headquarters of the National Weather Administration (ANM), by the Youth Platform for Sustainability (PTS) with support from the French Embassy in Romania and the French Institute in Romania.
The initiative is backed by the Ministry of the Environment, Water and Forestry and UNICEF Romania, under the aegis of LCOY Romania 2025.
The release of the National Youth Action Plan on Climate Change is said to mark an important moment that reflects the contribution of over 1000 young people nationwide who put forth concrete solutions for a sustainable future.
At the conference, UNICEF will present the findings of its analysis of climate change and its impact on children, providing relevant data on the link between the climate crisis and the well-being of younger generations.
