PM Dancila: Romania, interested in cooperating with Arab states

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila welcomed on Monday Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ruler's representative of the Al Dhafra region in the United Arab Emirates, context in which she voiced Romania's special interest in promoting cooperation with the Arab states. 

According to a press release of the Gov't, talks revolved around the stage of the bilateral relations and the development perspectives for economic cooperation. 

"Premier Viorica Dancila voiced Romania's special interest in promoting cooperation with the Arab states, an objective emphasised in the governing programme. In context, she expressed appreciation for last year's boost of the political-diplomatic dialogue which has yielded positive results both in the economic field as well as from the perspective of the sectoral cooperation," the quoted source informs. 

Special attention was also given to the analysis of the stage of the collaboration initiatives launched on the occasion of the first session of the Joint Cooperation Committee between Romania's Government and the Government of the United Arab Emirates, an event held in Bucharest, 16 to 17 April 2018. 

Prime Minister Dancila reiterated Romania's Executive desire to further consolidate the bilateral relations with the Gov't in Abu Dhabi, "both in the traditional cooperation segments (economic, trade, investments, energy, industry, transport and agriculture), and in developing common, large-scale projects, with partners form the United Arab Emirates."
