Minister of Regional Development and Public Administration Daniel Suciu on Tuesday signed in Constanta, together with the President of the County Council, Horia Tutuianu, a financing agreement worth almost 30 million euros for the rehabilitation of two county roads in the North-Eastern part of the county.
On this occasion, Daniel Suciu stated that the two agreements refer to the modernization of the regional transport infrastructure between County Road 226 (Corbu - Sacele - Istria - Mihai Viteazu) and County Road 226 A (Cetatea Histria - National Road 22/Tariverde), with sidewalks, bus stations and bike lanes to also be financed as part of these projects worth a total amount of almost 30 million euros.
According to the documentation, the project related to the County Road 226 refers to the rehabilitation and modernization of the 40-kilometer road segment between Corbu and Mihai Viteazu localities, the building of sidewalks and bike lanes for bicycles, on both directions, and the building and modernization of 25 bus stations. The implementation of the 23-million worth project will take 44 months since the approval is given for the works to start.
The second project, worth 5.8 million euros, refers to the modernization of a 14-kilometer segment of the County Road 226 A, in the Cetatea Histria area, passing through the Nuntasi locality and ending in the crossroad with the National Road 22 Tulcea-Constanta, in the Tariverde locality area. There will also be built sidewalks and four bus stations in 33 months.
The two projects will be financed through the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020 ITI Danube Delta.
