Romania's Dragos Draga on Tuesday will play a bronze medal match for the bronze medal in the men's 55 kg Greco-Roman wrestling event at the Under-20 European Wrestling Championships in Caorle, Italy.
Draga defeated Polish Gracjan Jedut in the preliminaries, in the quarterfinals he won against Belarusian Rasim Ibrahimov, but lost the semifinal to Russian Ivan Solomin and will fight for bronze, agerpres reports.
In the men's 63 kg event, Iosif Zlotar defeated Dutch Ilias Laaouina in the qualifiers, but was then defeated by Polish Mateusz Alot.
In the men's 87 kg event, Gabriel Eduardo Stan won in the preliminaries against Azerbaijani Orhan Fizuli Hajiev, in the round of 16 he defeated Czech Josef Cerny, but lost to Norwegian Martin Ljosaak in the quarterfinals.
Also competing in the Greco-Roman style will be Romanians Ionut Mereuta (60 kg) and Pavel Alexe (67 kg).
