Romanian swimmer Robert Glinta qualified for the 100m backstroke final on Thursday at the World Swimming Championships (25 meters) in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) with the eighth time in the semifinals, 50 sec 21/100, agerpres reports.
Glinta was also recorded in series with the eighth time, 50 sec 83/100.
The final of the 100 m backstroke is scheduled for Friday, December 17, at the Etihad Arena, at 16:07. Glinta will also perform at the World Championships in the 50 m backstroke event.
