Constanta County Council (CJC) started the implementation of the TREASURE project - Common Cultural heritage - Entrepreneurship development source in the Black Sea Basin, worth 939,544 euro, from European funding, in partnership with institutions in Bulgaria, the Republic of Moldova and Turkey.
According to a press release, CJC, as partnership leader, together with the Bulgarian Association for the Transfer of Technology and Innovation, the Ungheni Regional Council in the Republic of Moldova and the Government Authority of the Enez District in Turkey, as beneficiaries, have started the implementation of the TREASURE project, financed with European funds through the Black Sea Basin Common Operational Cross-border Programme 2014-2020 that aims to jointly promote business and entrepreneurship in tourism and culture in the partner regions.
"The implementation of the projects aims to develop specific activities such as the creation and endowment of an infrastructure with research and museum display equipment of the cultural and natural heritage, underwater and classic, so that upon the completion of the project, the partners benefit from equipment (diving and classic and digital exposure), that is promoted in a modern way (album and digital maps, festival, website and joint event)," the press release of the CJC shows.
For the Romanian side, the TREASURE project aims to develop the infrastructure of the Museum of National History and Archeology in Constanta, corresponding to the underwater heritage, by endowing the laboratory of subaquatic research with specific equipment, of research (wet costumes, dry costumes, diving computer, scan-side, motor boat, underwater vehicle, digital maps, automobile, VR glasses, holographic device, website dedicate to the project, wafers, etc.).
The financing contract was signed on 17 September 2018 and its implementation stretches over 24 months.
